In the Seinfeld neighborhood we came across this massive cathedral. It was nearly a block wide and 3 times as long. It is an Episcopal church with such detail work in the building I was astounded at the man hours it must have taken to carve such things. I especially loved the gigantic wooden doors, they were so beautiful. The design of the whole building was a little on the Goth side but still beautiful.
Right next to the church was a children's garden. It had a large fountain where all these little sculpture surrounding the garden were made by children form k-12 grade. The little elephant was my favorite. Again I was really impressed with the architecture in New York.
