one last Disneyland

I decided to let the kids skip school and head of to Disneyland for one last time before we move. Just me and the kids. I went on a Thurday so they only missed half a day. When we got their it was a little croweded but not unbearable so I let the kids dictate how our day was going to go. There was no plan on which "land" we should start in or what rides we had to go on, we just went and played it by ear. If the kids wanted to stand in line to see a character I didn't dissuade them. If something shiney caught their eye I let them look at it. If they wanted to go from one land across to another and back again so be it. I really wanted it to be a carefree memorable day for them.
Some of our favorite rides are Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Carribean, The jungle cruise. Soarin over California, and one of the kids favorite is the tea cups. They also love the rockets in tomorrowland. Favorite non rides are the innovators building, and the mark twain river boat.

thanksgiving 2010

Some of my family came to visit for Thanksgiving. It was a little cramped having 20 people in my little house. But it was well worth it to me. Its so nice having people come visit us. We absolutely loved having family here. They were even here for my birthday which was awesome. They brought me lots of Grandma sycamore bread!!!! I felt like I actually had a birthday this year. We went to Disneyland for my birthday. Even though it was PACKED!!!! I had a good time because I had good company. My favorite rides are Space Mountain, Jungle cruise, and of course Pirates of the Caribbean. Although the Buzz lighter year ride is always a hit with everyone. My kids absolutely love the innoventions building. They could probably spend all day in there.
Thanksgiving was good. Scott made all the food and it was delicious. The weather was a little cold but other than that everything was good. We were all sad when it was time for family to leave. Even my sweet Scott woke up the next morning in a somber mood and commented that he was lonely.
I do love living here but nothing beats having family around. Its almost like we all go through a grieving period for about a week after were separated.

Reeves and Disneyland

While the Reeves where with us we went to Disneyland. It looked really crowded but the wait for rides was only about 10 min. Everyone was excited to see each other again and prove just how brave they were by going on any rides deemed "scary" William and even little Hyrum went on the tower of terror. I asked William if he knew what terror meant. He said no, but it didn't matter because he was going on it anyway. It is hard to say what everyones favorite ride was. Probably soaring over California, or the jungle cruise (our guide happend to be extra funny that day.) It was so nice to have family come to us. I know its hard for people to take time out of their lives and make that L O N G drive but we truly appreciated it. Thanks fam for coming to visit us once in a while. We love ya

Disneyland 2009

The Stringhams have finally decided to try blogging. Only because I needed to find a way to organize the information I give to people, and because I'am starting to forget what we have done.
We recently went to Disneyland. It was Peter's 1st time and Brennen's 2nd. We went without Scott because he had to work. It turned out okay. Everyone had a great time. The tea cups were everyones favorite ride. All smiles the whole time and quite a few "again, agains" I love to watch my kids experience new things, its like experiencing it for the first time all over again.
