This is going to be one our new traditions. This is the first year that the Church and some partners did this really cool thing in the lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. There were 3 vending machines and each one sold different things. Scott bought a goat and some chickens for a family in need. Jane bought a goat as well and some eye glasses. Grandma Pool bought a goat and some glasses as well. Ellie was singing in the Assembly Hall at the time. William bought chickens. Peter bought a first aid kit. Ellie bought a back pack full of supplies. Brenny bought clean water. All of this stuff is paid for here and then the stuff is sent to people and families in need all over the world. This is the best idea. It made us all feel awesome. I know so many people want to serve they just don't know how. Who ever the genius was who figured this out will get special blessings in heaven. We felt so honored to be able to take part in this. Whats even more amazing was the crowds of people lined up to give. We waited in line for 30 minutes to do this and I know people waited even longer. Merry Christmas.
