During the first total eclipse of the Sun in like 100 years we didn't travel to see the totality. Where we were here in Utah we got about 80% of totality. It was still really cool.
The kids had a dental appointment down at Scott's office in Nephi. SO we kept running outside to see what stage the eclipse was at. It started out as very subtle. The temperature dropped and then it looked as if the whole world had filtered lens. It was bright but not so bright. It is kind of hard to explain. But it was amazing to see how perfect everything has to be in order for this to happen and how powerful the sun truly is.
