Ahh the joys of summer. Those days when swimming and a shower are basically the same thing.The simple pleasures, like the warm sun, the smell of sun block, the lazy days, the smell of fresh cut grass, the lack of schedule, sleeping in, staying up late, the trips to get a slurpee, sprinkler time, and swimming swimming and more swimming. As you can tell a big part of what we did at the St. George house was swimming and we couldn’t have been happier.
The kids were happy to frolic and play with their cousins and I was content to leisurely lounge by the pool and read my book, catch some zzz’s and take a dip to cool off and splash with my kiddos. We didn’t HAVE to be anywhere, didn’t HAVE to do anything just be. I know sometimes I struggle with this but when it comes to sun and water (and sand if available), it seems to be the magic combination to = relax.
