I wonder if this is part my doing. I don't really put any emphasis on Santa Claus in my house because he is not the reason for the season. Yes he is a symbol of Christ and my children all know that very well but I just feel that the rest of the world has the Santa thing taken care of and its my job to make sure the real reason for the season is known to them. That being said I think it has the effect that my children don't really care about Santa. In fact I don't think they ever have. I guess there could be worse things in life then doting of "Santa Claus".
