Curiosity Museum Thanksgiving Point Jan 2015

Thanksgiving Point has an amazing children's museum called the Curiosity Museum.  It has 4 main areas that are rather large in size.  When you enter the museum you have to cross a bridge and you get to see the rainforest area That has all kinds of jungle gym play spaces a waterfall, an airplane you can play in.  A creepy dark maze for those not so faint of heart, and all kinds of activities that help you learn about animals in a very interactive way.
The 2nd area is a water and wind area.  They are kind enough to offer aprons and galoshes for those who don't want to get wet.  You can see how water moves and can be reidrected by using pipes and foam blocks to do whatever you wish.  They have a tube system to teach about air and suction, a wind tunnel, and earthquake machine. The 3rd area is kidopolis.  Its an entire city made for kids.  You can go to the bank, the library, magic shop, laundromat, music studio and so much more.  The 4th area is a revolving area.  it changes all the time form learning about bugs, to underwater exploration, to the human body, to the forest life and so on and so on.They also have an outdoor area with a playground and mini buildings and trails.  They really put a lot of thought into this museum.  Its a must for anyone with kids, or kids at heart.
