New Years 2012/2013

It has been so blasted cold lately that we decided to have a tropical themed new years party. We are all sick of the cold and my mom's house is kept at 80 degrees because my dad can't keep warm.  She totally decked out the whole place complete with tiki umbrellas inside and everyone was instructed to come dressed in the proper attire.

With  all of us jonesing for warmth we ate taco's and lake sandwiches with pina colada's and Mexican Fanta.  

We had all the classic games with some new ones added.  It was so funny to watch the kids dance away with the new xbox kinnect dance game.  However the funniest game was reverse charades.  Its played with 1 guesser and the rest of the team tries their best to act out the word.  The funnest part is that everyone has their own idea of how to get the guesser to get the word and it turns into chaos. The guesser has a hard time focusing on which actor look at.  It's a barrel of laughs and a wonderful party game.

TK spent the night at the "bar" drinking the night away.  Paul was extra dashing with his fake chest hair.

I realize that I am getting older because I was ready to call it a night around 10 pm. I pushed through the sleepys chugged a coke and whipped out the Nertz cards. 

We finished off the night with some fireworks and my brothers canon. Totally scaring the neighbors dog so he ran into the house and wouldn't leave. Good thing we're dog people.
